Ben officially debuted in the pit orchestra of Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, substituting Keyboard 1 for David Pepin.

His final show as a student at the Boston Conservatory, Ben was hired to be the assistant music director of the school's production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812.

For his senior composition recital at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Ben premiered his senior thesis piece, Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. I in A Minor. It was conducted by master student Julian Dürr, whom, with Ben, curated a 43 - piece orchestra of conservatory students.

During his senior year, Ben was hired by the conservatory as the assistant music director and cover conductor of their production of Alice By Heart.
